Unhappy times that people face are varied. I can work with a range of issues, including drug and alcohol use, relationship difficulties, low mood, confidence and self esteem issues, and loss of identity through illness or long term health conditions. I have a particular interest in women’s health and the challenges that the peri-menopause and menopause can bring, along with improving overall well-being through lifestyle changes.
About me
A person centred approach is at the heart of what I offer, believing that we are all experts on ourselves. Sometimes we can lose our way and there is no shame in having help to rediscover which direction we want to go in. I will listen with empathy and compassion and invite you to talk through whatever is causing you unhappiness to find solutions that help you feel better.

Since 2002 I have worked in statutory and social sectors with adults, children and young people, working therapeutically with people to find ways through challenging times.
Creating a therapeutic relationship where there is trust and connection is the most important ingredient in the therapy sessions, it allows you to explore your challenges in a safe and non judgemental space. Primarily, I will use a person centred approach, though I may use other approaches for specific issues such as motivational interviewing techniques, coaching and transactional analysis to help you find solutions.
My own experiences of difficult times helps me to understand that life can feel challenging, and reaching out for help when I needed it the most gave me back my hope for living in a brighter future. I am committed in continuing my personal well-being, on-going learning and development.
My fees are £40 per 50 minute session. I offer face to face, online and telephone sessions. I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation.
If the time feels right for you, get in touch and we can talk through how I can work alongside you to help you get to where you want to be.
